A new challenge in Adventure Racing

Dear Adventure Racers,

there is a new venture in Adventure Racing: the Merrell Adventure Race Series 2010 with three races in the Bavarian Forest, in Winterberg and in Jena.

No matter if newcomer or well attuned race team – everyone will find the very thing for himself at the beginner, challenger and master class races. Especially for the newcomers and lateral entrants, we offer a possibility of getting an adventurous impression with our beginner class races. Don’t worry, who manages to run 10 kilometers without getting a racing heart and thereafter dares to travel 30 kilometers on the MTB will accomplish this task easily. The breaks in between substantially shorten the felt distance once more.

The Merrell Adventure Races are a series of three races in Germany - the German Series 2010:

• Bavarian Forest: July 29 - August 1, 2010
• Fuldatal: August 13 - 15, 2010
• Jena: September  24 - 26, 2010

By the end of the three races, there will be an overall winner in every class (beginner, challenger and master) and team category (ladies, gentlemen, mixed).

Application as Merrell-Team 2010

Participants, who register for one of the races, can additionally apply as the Merrell-Team 2010 on the Merrell Adventure Races Facebook Fansite. Please send us via Facebook, what exactly makes you the Merrell-Team 2010 - no matter the form. Always one team per race will be equipped from head to toe by Merrell and obtains cost-free starting positions. At a meeting before, as well as during the races, a photo production of the teams will take place. The photos will be deployed in the coverage about the race and will be made available to the teams thereafter.

Application as "abenteuer und reisen"-Team

Until June 25th you can aditionally apply as "abenteuer & reisen"-Team on the registration form. Just confirm your participation below your team name. One "abenteuer & reisen"-team per race will be equipped by Merrell and will obtain cost-free starting positions. During the races a reporter will report about the team. Afterwards, the team gets the best photos.
